Admissions Process
Thank you for your interest in enrolling your student in Timberlake Christian School. We strive to give your child a Solid Foundation - Academically and Spiritually.
Timberlake Christian School has a multi-step process for all new students.
- Siblings of current students must apply as a new applicant.
- Students who have been away from TCS for a semester or more must reapply as a new applicant.
- All steps must be completed and documents submitted to secure a student's seat.
STEP 1 | Complete the online Application
Complete the Online Application.
Along with completion of the Online Application, there is a non-refundable $50 processing fee for new student applications.
STEP 2 | SUbmit the required Documents
Submit the required documents.
- Birth Certificate
- Request for Records Form (submit to child's the current school or return to the TCS office)
- Kindergarten Applicant Evaluation Form or Grades 1-12 Applicant Evaluation Form (submitted to child's current teacher)
- Pastoral Reference for Grades 6-12 (contact information provided with the application)
- Custody documentation for children with more than one household
- IEP, educational, or psychological evaluations as appropriate
STEP 3 | School Entrance Testing
Complete School Entrance Testing (K-12 Students)
After completing steps 1 & 2 (and all documents have been received), you will be contacted via email to schedule testing. An entrance test is given to all new students in grades K-12 to determine how each student is performing academically in comparison with the grade level he/she is to enter.
STEP 4 | ENTRANCE INTERVIEW
Complete Entrance Interview (K-12 students)
After completing parts 1 and 2, the entrance interview (conducted at the same time as the entrance testing) involves the parents and students in order to review testing results, discuss enrollment, student testimony, answer any questions, and discuss scheduling for students in grades 9-12. Final decision for academic acceptance* is made following the interview and testing. If applying for Kindergarten, student must be age 5 by Sept. 30th.

STEP 5 | COMPLETE THE ENROLLMENT Packet
Complete Online Enrollment
After the previous steps are completed, the school office will send parents an email with the steps to complete the enrollment packet. This includes paying the non-refundable enrollment fee.

STEP 6 | SUBMIT ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS
Submit the additional required documents to the school office by June 1st. If coming from a public school setting, the physical exam and immunization records will likely be included with the student's transcripts.
- School Entrance Physical Exam (Pre-K through Grade 6)
- Current Immunization Records - including required vaccines for grades kindergarten, 7th and 12th grade.
STEP 7 | MAKE PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS
The business office will contact you via email when they process your enrollment packet to make payment arrangements and to set up your FACTS agreement for monthly payments, if applicable. Remember, your child's seat will not be fully secure until all steps are successfully completed including step 7 (payment arrangements and/or financial agreement with the business office). This includes the offer and acceptance of any fiancial assistance.
TCS utilizes a continuous enrollment model in which all current students are automatically enrolled each school year. The agreement applies to each successive academic year until the student graduates from TCS, is terminated by TCS, or withdraws from TCS with the submission of an official withdrawal form. The continuous enrollment fee will be billed via FACTS during the first week of January. The deadline to submit an official withdrawal form and avoid the continuous enrollment fee is December 31st. Continuous Enrollment does not apply to financial aid, tuition discounts, Extended Care, or the Bedford Bus.

On January 1st, pay the continuous enrollment fee (if the fee is not autodrafted) and log into your FACTS Family Portal to verify/update your demographic information, student medical information, authorized pick up student pick up list, and authorized emergency contacts. Submit the withdrawal form by the December 20th deadline if your student will not attend TCS for the next school year.

STEP 2 | SUbmit ADDITIONAL Documents by the specified dates (including BEdford Bus & Extended CAre)
Submit any additional required documents to the school office:
- Official Withdrawal Form no later than December 31st
- Extended Care Request Form (current students only) by December 31st
- Bedford Bus Request Form (current students only) by December 31st
- FACTS Grant & Aid Application (as appropriate) by March 1st (note: If completing the FACTS Grant & Aid Application, your child's seat will not be fully secure until the application is reviewed by administration, an award is offered as appropriate, and the award accepted)
- Pastoral Reference (Grades 6-12) by May 30th (A link will be sent to you by the TCS Office)
- Current Immunization Records (Pre-K, Kindergarten, 7, 12) by June 1st
- Current school health form (Pre-K, Kindergarten) by June 1st
STEP 3 | CONFIRM PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS
The business office will contact you via email to make payment arrangements and set up your FACTS agreement for monthly payments, if applicable. The tuition payment option will remain the same as the prior year unless you request a change in writing with the Business Office ([email protected])

STEP 1 | Complete the online Application

STEP 2 | SUbmit the required Documents
Submit the required documents translated into English by uploading them to online application.
- Passport
- TOEFL | iTEP scores
- 250 word essay written by the student describing why they would like to attend Timberlake Christian Schools
- Official school transcripts for the last three years to include: academic scores/grades, attendance records, and any discipline records
- 2 letters of reference from current teachers -
- Affidavit (certified bank statement) showing sufficient funds
- Note: documents uploaded in JPEG or PNG format will not be accepted.
STEP 3 | DOCUMENT REVIEW
Your application documents are reviewed.
STEP 4 | ENTRANCE INTERVIEW
Complete Skype Interview (8-12 students)
You will be contacted by TCS to secure a date and time for the interview. Final decision for acceptance is made following receipt of the application, required documents, and the interview.
STEP 5 | COMPLETE THE ONLINE ENROLLMENT
After the previous steps are completed, the school office will send parents an acceptance email and a link to complete Online Enrollment. Complete Online Enrollment, which includes paying the non-refundable $800 enrollment fee.
STEP 6 | MAKE PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS
The business office will contact you once they have processed your online enrollment forms to make payment arrangements.
The I-20 will be issued within 24 business hours of receipt of enrollment documents.
Please Note: Complete Immunization records and proof of health insurance must be provided upon arrival. A complete physical exam will be arranged by TCS prior to the start of school.
